Is there a “new” professional profile of foreign language teachers, which is being shaped in these years as the consequence of the great cultural, social and technological changes affecting human lives, as well as of the global emergencies of the pandemic and the environmental issue. The figure and the role of the language teacher are becoming more and more complex and continually developing.
In this section some aspects of teachers’ professionalism are focused on, but we are aware of the fact that they are just “little assets”, though meaningful, of a long path of research and practice, which characterizes the whole career and life (lifelong learning).
